Once the work had been underway for a few months, I realized that it presented a valuable opportunity for primary research and analysis with a large data set, and perhaps an unprecedented opportunity. I set up methods to quantify, collect, organize and tabulate the data. I questioned my beliefs, became aware of questions to be answered, and asked Helping Spirits for those answers. This was joyful work, building a closer connection to Helping Spirits, with the excitement of exploring new ideas, and in the peace and empowerment brought by deeper insight.
1._Age at Death - 2. Type of Death - 3. Lifetime - 4. Life Purpose - 5. Reason for Not Crossing - 6. Response to Intervention - 7. Reception
In addition to this data, I recorded the conversations I had with the escortees and their families, and the advice offered to me by Helping Spirits about them.
Over two-thirds of the group (71%) were not yet considered adults, and most of the adults were younger than age 50. This speaks to the difficulty of survival in earlier centuries. Few could be considered as having reached eldership.
46% - Children 0~12 Asleep - (Younger than the age of agency, as determined by Helping Spirits.) The youngest child was still in utero; the oldest children were age 14 and escorted as sleeping out of kindness for having experienced suffering.
25% - Tweens 12-Adult - (Above the age of agency but not yet considered adults.) The youngest tween was age 9; the oldest tween was in his mid 20s having been held back by a dominating father. A few people in middle age were not considered adults by their families due to mental limitation.
29% - Adults - (Engaged, married, in apprenticeship, or living independently.) The youngest adult was an engaged girl of 9, several were considered adults at age 12. The oldest adult was in his 70s.
Slightly over one-half (54%) died as the result of accidents and other unintended events. Many of these people could have survived had medical treatment been available. Often, the only care they received was given by the mother of the home. As a modern person, I was surprised by the number of deaths due to injuries from livestock, infections in simple flesh wounds, and spoiled food. Children were especially vulnerable to foolish and freakish mistakes, since they lack coordination, good judgement, and knowledge about how anything works.
I used three categories for cause of death:
54% Unintended Injuries - accidents, natural disasters, fire, drowning, cold exposure, wild and domestic animals
33% Illnesses Etc. - illness, poison, malnutrition, allergy, childbirth, grief
13% Intended Injuries - violence, suicide
Significantly, 94% of the group were young spirits, people who were manifesting on earth for the 1st-5th time. Only 4% were in their 6th-10th lifetimes; only 2% were in their 11th or greater lifetimes. Due to the difficulty of survival, many of these were in a “restart” lifetime, trying again to complete a Life Purpose that had previously been cut short. Two children were in their eighth restarts, attempting to survive out of childhood. In past centuries, the most common reason for not completing a Life Purpose was survival; currently, the most common reason is distraction. Older spirits do not continue to return to earth because it doesn’t feel necessary; 100 lifetimes on earth is rare. Currently, the oldest spirit on earth is a very exceptional case with over 200 lifetimes.
22% - First Lifetime
31% - Second Lifetime
24% - Third Lifetime
13% - Fourth Lifetime
5% - Fifth Lifetime
4% - Sixth-Tenth Lifetimes
2% - Eleventh and more Lifetimes
All spirits who wish to manifest on earth are accommodated. Spirits must complete a planning process in order to come to earth, choosing an approved Life Purpose which will result in growth for self or for another. The first few lifetimes are usually occupied with learning the basics of human life by focusing on family roles as defined by the culture.
89% - Family Roles
Child Role then Parent Role - Most of my ancestors were in Purposes focused on family roles, as is usual for young spirits. For all in their first lifetimes, the Purpose was to “be a good son/daughter”. The initial good child role is encouraged by Helping Spirits in the planning process. After the child role was accomplished (often taking more than one lifetime) the Purpose for the next lifetime was to “be a good father/mother”. One person reversed this order and did his parent role before his child role. Most did not manifest in both gender versions.
Improving Family Roles - Once a parental role was accomplished, the next Life Purpose might be to improve on the parental role; 8% of those in parental Purposes were working to be a better father or mother. Their goals for improvement included being more kind, patient, tender, responsible, disciplined, better provider, etc. A few people in repeat family roles intended to experience a different aspect of family life, such parenting boys this time, or being a good sister.
Supportive Family Roles - Some (6% of the Family Roles group) pre-arranged to manifest in the same family with a less experienced spirit, or someone with a specific need, in order to provide support, such as to be the brother to a first-time spirit. Ten people repeated a family role simply because they enjoyed or valued it. Any Purpose focused on relationship results in growth.
Next Purposes - Once family roles were accomplished, people might expand to other Purposes, such as these below. Pre-arrangements might be made with specific others who would also manifest in order to provide support for that Purpose. Pre-arrangements might also be made with Helping Spirits to create specific illnesses, accidents, or opportunities.
4% - Develop Personal Virtues, such as kindness, calmness, patience, happiness, industriousness, responsibility, assertiveness, determination, leadership, bravery, etc. A role model in a previous lifetime may have been the inspiration for this choice. A man in his 5th lifetime came to be cheerful whatever happens, and was still holding to this when his death came, instead of crossing. 1109
3% - Contribute Through Work in the world that would be of value to others. Examples included being a teacher, a community leader, or a healer. A few had very precise goals to help a specific group, such as to build a needed bridge or object. A very few hoped to work spiritually. A boy of 14 in his 10th lifetime had some ability to communicate with Helping Spirits and hoped to use it to help others. 704 A girl of 6 in her 45th lifetime came to be a seer or medicine woman. When she reached the top she encouraged me, Continue your work, it’s of great value. 1477
1.5% - Experience Freedom or “something of my own”, such as a business, farm, or career. A woman in her 5th lifetime came in the 1800s to experience freedom and had her own herbal business with a pre-arranged, supportive husband. 1045
1% - Experience Healing to recover from a previous lifetime that was too difficult for growth, seeking an experience of more kindness, more stability, more provision, etc. A man in his mid 30s came to recover from a previous fearful life in wartime. He made progress but when death came, he was still too fearful to cross on his own. 155
1% - Experience Challenge by choosing a body with a limitation or other specific quality in order to cultivate wisdom, compassion, or strength, a purpose usually chosen by older spirits. Some chosen limitations included: brain injury, retardation, limp, restrictive illness, body without limbs, or to parent children with these conditions. A man of 25 in his 15th lifetime choose a hermaphrodite body with a pre-planned mother and suicided when he felt complete in his learning. 1618
1% - Provide Service requiring sacrifice rather than simple support, to another person who has a special need, usually a close family member. Seventeen children came with congenital conditions so their parents could experience or do better with loss, or do better with providing parental care than they had in a previous lifetime.
For 1.5% of the entire 1,922, the Life Purposes of Experience Challenge or Provide Service included choosing a specific accidental death, an illness, or a congenital condition that would cause death. A woman of 16 in her 11th lifetime chose a congenital condition in order to face death in childbirth, and she was holding to this Purpose rather than crossing. 869
Most bodies have a weakness, but any body is considered an opportunity that sprits can make something of. However, 1.5% of the entire 1,922 chose bodies with weaknesses that caused their deaths, thus interfering with their Purposes. These congenital conditions were not noticed when the body was chosen, or not expected to manifest, or the spirit did not realize how difficult the condition would be to manage. Some chose to manifest in families or circumstances which were harsh or dysfunctional enough to be the cause of death. They did not yet have the resources to succeed with these weak bodies or difficult circumstances. A want-to-be dancer chose a body with a weak heart 1148, and a want-to-be mother chose a body with a reproductive problem. A man in his 40s and first lifetime chose a body with a homosexual tendency not understanding what it would mean. The disapproval he experienced was too difficult for his minimal resources, and he suicided. He chose Remediation. 1691
The great majority of my ancestors shared similar characteristics, being young spirits in family-oriented Purposes. They represent what is most probable for humans on earth. However, a few were exceptional in various ways, showing the wide universe of what is possible in life on earth, in contrast to what is most probable.
37 Non-Ancestors and a Dog - Some non-ancestors were also escorted in this work: 37 people had died with and were escorted with my ancestors. These were mostly playmates of children and tweens, although one young woman believed she was an ancestor and asked for help. There was also one dog escorted with his boys who died trying to rescue him. The boys were excited to show their parents, Mom, Dad, she helped us bring Teddy! 410
Two Non-Committal - Two young women in their first lifetimes had come to earth (separately) out of thinking they should give it a try. Both suicided, feeling that life wasn’t worth it. I’m glad to get out of there. 1152 I’m so glad to be going, I didn’t really want to. 1318. Once each got to the Rainbow Bridge, they said, This is more like it!
Two Causing Problems - Two of my ancestors were causing problems for the living. One man was annoying his past co-worker due to resentment. 1085 The second man was mentally ill due to a congenital brain condition and had murdered his brother. 1922 While I escorted the brother (who was stuck in, My brother hated me this much?), Helping Spirits “tricked” the ill man into coming along with us. Although free will is respected as an essential principle, people like this man whose functioning is compromised can be helped by other means with Helping Spirit guidance.
Two Left Their Bodies - A girl of 13 in her first lifetime was in hospital. She knew she would die but wanted to get to heaven and amazingly succeeded in leaving her body through her intention. But since humans cannot cross into Spirit while the body is still alive, she was stuck. 817 A boy of 13 in his 40th lifetime wanted to know what it’s like to “be an angel on earth” which was his concept of being in touch with God always. He left his body when he felt complete, and was allowed to stay in Spirit as an exception, but wanted me to clear his left behind energy. 1275
One Multiple Personality - A man inadvertently chose a harsh culture and family and developed schizophrenia as a result. I made two separate escorts and the two “men” entered Remediation at the same time, to be reunited there. 1598
Two Adults-In-Children - A man chose to manifest as a full adult emotionally and mentally from the moment of birth, and to live in the growing body that way. He found it fascinating rather than limiting. He died of accidental drowning at age 3, in his 15th lifetime. 532. He was not the only spirit to try this and planned to try again. A mother in her 9th lifetime came with pre-arrangement to experience the same severe accident as her son had in the previous lifetime. She successfully lived with two awarenesses, one as a son in this lifetime and another as his mother from the past lifetime. When the accident happened, she knew she came to experience it. 1608
Two Not-From-Earth - Two people were not originally from earth and were the oldest two spirits among my ancestors. A man in his 50th earth lifetime come to be a community seer during shamanic times. He died by pre-arranged cruel violence at age 18, with a purpose to cultivate strength. Since he had left his community they did not check on him. 684 A girl who died at 13 in her 97th earth lifetime had left home to seek a better place as part of a Purpose to develop courage by facing the unknown. 1191
Two Helping Spirits - A boy who died at 2 was a Helping Spirit who came to provide healing for his earthly mother. Both died due to harsh conditions before this Purpose could be accomplished. 1240 A girl who died at 9 was part of a Helping Spirit experimenting with a method of bringing spiritual energy into earth. Both she and her parents knew who she was during her lifetime. She practiced gathering Silver Yin energy during her 9 years and then died and did not cross by choice. The energy she left behind was an abundance of Silver intended to help preserve the planet earth. The experiment was very efficient and successful, and as a result, more Helping Spirits are planning similar manifestations. 944
One Angel - A boy who died at 9 was an angel who manifested to bring blessing to an area of famine. The presence of angelic Source energy helped to shift nature and bring hope. He died and did not cross by choice. Angels are “a different breed” than humans and are not meant to manifest in form. 1418
The data I collected about reasons for not crossing are grouped into four categories. The first three - Awareness (Body), Understanding (Mind), and Readiness (Emotions) - represent types of preoccupation that interfered with noticing, recognizing, and following the Welcome energy. The fourth category - Ability (Spirit) - addresses functionality rather than preoccupation. Helping Spirits determined which category best matched each person. More than one type of preoccupation might be involved, but I recorded the predominant category.
63.3% - Not Aware - Still in the Physical Situation
Physical Suffering - The imprint created by physical suffering persists in the mind and emotions after the body is gone. In this category I included people who were continuing to feel the effects of physical pain, fatigue, shock, surprise, overwhelm, trapped, etc., even though there was no longer a bodily source for these experiences. A man who was trampled by livestock expressed well the power of painful accidental death to be preoccupying, You’re right, I was mesmerized by it.
Resolving an Emergency Situation - I also included in this category people whose awareness was still in the emergency situation that caused death. They were continuing whatever effort they were trying to make to save the situation, such as: escaping, getting help, hiding, trying to get through it, rescuing others, catching the runaway horse, putting out the fire, etc. Common responses to me were, Can you help me? Can you get me out? How did you get here? What happened?
Surprise and Shock - Some accident victims had been taken home or to hospital, and there may have heard that death was a possibility for them. But people who lost consciousness or died at the scene of an accident might have no idea what had happened and need my explanation. Some suicides were similarly stuck in the physical reaction of shock, if their method was violent.
A Non-Event - Drowning victims all believed they were still underwater. People dying at home or in hospital thought they were still there, resting, dreaming, or experiencing another medical treatment. People who died in hospital responded as if I were a nurse, I think it’s better. What do we have today? The most common first responses to me from tweens who died at home were, Mom? Where’s Mom? These responses speak to the non-event nature of death, being such a subtle change that it can’t be distinguished from being underwater, resting, dreaming, or medicated.
Too Tired - Only 2% of people in this category knew the body had died; even so, they felt unable to act due to the imprint of the situation. Examples included women who died in childbirth feeling too exhausted to move, or men killed by falling trees or machinery feeling too trapped to act.
Not Aware - Whether preoccupied with physical sensations or with saving the situation, people in this category did not have awareness free to notice death or the Welcome. The energy restoration treatment relieved the imprint of their sensations and panic, restoring their awareness so they could attend to the information I provided them in the Interview. Nearly all sleeping children were in this category; the energy restoration did not awaken them, they awakened after they reached the top of the Rainbow Bridge.
22.3% - Not Understanding - Mind Puzzling or Holding Another Intention
Puzzling - In this category, I included people whose mental preoccupation kept them stuck. More than half of the people in this category (61%) had noticed a change, but were not able to make sense of the new state. What’s happening? Where is this? Am I dead? If I were dead I’d be in heaven. Is this a punishment? Is something wrong? If I’m dead, what do I do now? Christianity encourages the helpful belief that people go elsewhere after death, but the misinformation that one is automatically in heaven after death was a common cause for puzzling. Even casual puzzling could keep a person stuck; a woman in her 60s who expected to die was caught up in a reverie. When I suggested she could go to heaven now, she responded, Oh yes I do, I was drifting off. 1325
Holding an Intention - I also included in this category a lesser number of people who were holding to a positive intention such as: I’ve got to hold on for the children, I’ve got to face death calmly, If I’m dead I have to wait for God to act. Six people were holding to their Purposes of facing illness or death with courage, peace, or cheerfulness. Some people were holding to the conviction that death was not a possibility: Mom said if I stay in bed I’ll get better, No one dies from this. A woman whose Purpose was to live close to Spirit was feared by her community and executed as a witch. Helping Spirits helped her to hold her ground while facing the execution. Her first response to me was, Is it time? 1227 Suicides without spiritual beliefs expected nothingness and reasoned: since I’m still aware, I’m not dead yet.
12.3% - Not Ready - Emotions Not Resolved
In this category I included people whose emotions were the primary preoccupation that prevented crossing. The number of people in this category was almost evenly split (55% versus 45%) between those who were not aware of death and those who were. The emotions I encountered in order of prevalence were Responsibility, Loss, Guilt, and Anger.
Responsibility - Adults might be preoccupied with concern for their children or responsibilities to others. A man with a leadership Purpose was worried that his community couldn’t carry on without him. He was able to leave once I told him how they had continued with the projects he’d started. Oh they did, good! 1681
Loss of Family Love - Adults and tweens might be grieving loss of connection with loved ones, which was helped by learning that loved ones were waiting for them in Spirit, would be arriving in Spirit soon, or could be watched from Spirit. A man with a parental Purpose knew he’d died but was unable to leave his children. Once he learned from me that they were waiting for him in heaven, he rushed up the Bridge calling to them, I knew I was dead but I just couldn’t leave you! 1218 Some tweens needed personal love from me to heal from the cruelty and loss of love they had experienced from adults.
Loss of Life - Some people were grieving their own loss of life or loss of the goodness of life. A man of 20 in his first lifetime had a lifelong problem with anger that also caused his car accident. He was held back by remorse about the difficulty it had always given him, and had now caused his death. 1659.Suicides needed to be lifted from despair into hope with the information, You don’t have to stay the way you are, there is healing in heaven and you can be happy again.
Guilty Fear - Tweens who had died in misdoing were often held back by guilt, worrying about being punished by God or the anger of their parents. During the interview, they reached a point of recognition and offered, I guess I shouldn’t have... I responded without judgement, Do you think so, I’m proud of you, you’re learning wisdom and that’s what God wants from us. Next time you come to earth, you’ll be more wise and you can do better. (Helping Spirits called this “your wisdom speech”.) For these tweens, I asked ahead of time about the parents, so I could truthfully reassure the tween, Your parents love you and want you to come home.
Guilty Unworthiness - People who believed they’d failed another person might be held back by the guilt of unworthiness and want a chance to apologize or make it right. A young woman with a parental purpose died in childbirth, but knew that the child survived. She was caught in guilt over the affect of another child on her family, given their poverty. At the top she cried, I’m sorry I couldn’t do it, Mother! 252
Anger - A few people were held back by anger at the situation that had caused death. Some were helped by learning that they could come back again, it was not their only chance. Others just wanted to get out, like the man who was working, injured his foot, slipped into water and drowned. He was caught in anger because he was a good swimmer but couldn’t swim due to the injury. 1327
2% - Not Able - Spirit Damaged
The extent of spiritual damage people sustain correlates with the severity of their suffering. The more physical suffering is prolonged and/or the more it is accompanied by emotional suffering, the greater the extent of damage. Most of those in this category were victims of interpersonal violence. Children and tweens, being weaker in resources than adults, also sustained damaged from illnesses and accidents. Source energy restoration was essential to return them to functioning. Even with this treatment, many were unable to ascend the Rainbow Bridge themselves and I took them up. Most went into Remediation after they arrived at the top of the Bridge.
The Raid Captives - Most of the first ancestors, the 150 raid victims, died quickly. But 25 of these were kept as captives for several days and suffered spiritual damage. After I provided energy restoration, they awoke to awareness. I explained that we were in a safe sanctuary and waited for each person to express her/his needs. Some needed to cry and say how horrible it was, to be hugged or sit in my lap, or learn about their families. I offered love and affirmed their feelings. One boy was suspicious after his experience and needed time to trust. Another boy wanted to talk about it and I was pleased to learn later that his mother thought my counseling was just what she would have done.
Of the 1,922 total ancestors escorted, 5% went to Remediation. This included everyone in the Ability category (37) plus additional children and tweens from the other categories. Adults choose Remediation sparingly because it overwrites the learning they’ve gained in that lifetime; it was more frequently offered to children and tweens. Helping Spirits often gave parents (usually mothers) the option to choose if their children should go to Remediation. Of the 101 who went to Remediation:
45% were children/tweens for whom mothers made the choice
42% were children/tweens for whom Helping Spirits made the choice
15% were adults/tweens who chose to go
I was particularly affected by one example of spiritual damage, questioning why such suffering is allowed. In a rural Christian community, three children were kidnapped and victimized by outsiders when they had been sent out to do a chore. Helping Spirits made five interventions trying to prevent and ameliorate this tragedy. The children were urged to go back home, but didn’t listen. The parents were urged to check on the children, but didn’t listen. The perpetrators were told they wouldn’t get away with it, but didn’t listen. Helping Spirits shielded the children during the suffering, but damage was still caused. Helping Spirits were successful in urging someone to observe the disposal of the bodies, and the perpetrators were caught, whipped and hung by the community. The mothers lost their faith. Follow-up: the children were healed in Remediation, and are now planning a return visit to earth in a safe place.
People often had strong reactions to energy restoration: Oh that helps! I’m better now! Wow, how can you do that? I didn’t think I’d be ok again but I am now. Would I have survived with that? Can I learn that? One woman who had been a healer said, Oh that’s powerful! and determined to learn it for her own work. 1230
My goal in the interview was to provide a positive experience supportive of healing, growth and learning. I do not see uncrossed people as a problem to be solved, but as people in emergency situations deserving of the most attentive counseling I can provide. As I imagine is true for any counseling work, I needed to balance sensitivity to suffering and the need for nurture and affirmation on one hand, with seeing the person as capable and providing structure and strength on the other. I aimed to let the person lead the conversation, listening deeply and responding with the right timing, information, and tone, and receiving correction from Helping Spirits as needed. I was not always successful. For example, one boy said, You don’t need to feel sorry for me, I’m pretty tough. 1807 One man was interesting in chatting, but I was used to people being eager to leave and didn’t provide him with enough time. Helping Spirits gave him my apology later. 1283
Younger tweens needed only short interviews without much explanation from me. They were motivated to get home to their parents as soon as possible. Some tweens were fun. One morning while talking to a girl I realized I’d not brushed my teeth. She heard my concern and said, That’s OK, I don’t notice your breath. When she arrived at the top, she told her parents, She helped me, she was worried about her breath but I said it was OK. In two other occasions, my cat jumped into my lap during the work. Both the tweens thought it was cool because they liked cats. Older tweens and adults, being more invested in life, asked more questions and expressed more reactions. Still, it seemed remarkable to me that people were able to change directions so quickly with just a few words from me.
People from older times were accepting of the process. A few compared my information with what they had been taught: That’s not in the Bible, They didn’t tell us in church, The Bible got some of it right, It should be in the Bible but it’s hard to change the Bible. Recent people expressed more amazement such as: I had no idea. You mean it’s true? Who knew, it’s all so different. What a day, someone comes from the future and then all this. Some expressed relief that their death experience was over and about how terrible it was. Some needed personal nurturing. Some asked about me and the work and commended me. Some people touched me with their kind or enlightened presence.
No one expressed liking the state they were in: This isn’t very nice. I don’t want to stay here. I didn’t think I’d end up here. I didn’t think this was the right place. I thought it should be better than this. When people were asked to decide about leaving, their reactions ranged from a delighted, Oh I’m so glad to go, to a simple, Yes, thank you, to a lukewarm, Well it’s better than here. A few boys were suspicious of me and took more time to decide, some girls thought that since I was a relative it was OK to speak with me. I believe that being a relative was helpful, as well as being female and therefore seen as non-threatening.
Some interviews were deeply inspiring to me about the value of this work to bring healing. I was part of many turnarounds from despair to hope, from loss to re-connection, from fear to trust, from guilt to forgiveness, from wrongdoing to wisdom, and from anger to acceptance. Some people were inspired by my work to emulate me, I’m going to do good, too! With only one exception, everyone expressed gratitude verbally, and sometimes with handshakes or hugs and warm emotions. (The one non-grateful person was described by Helping Spirits as “not a nice person”. When offered the Rainbow Bridge his response was Good deal! 1716) A few said, How can I ever thank you? My response was, Pass on the Good! The work was tremendously rewarding to me, spending these moments of intimacy with my people. Just a few moments of my time brought such valuable blessing to both them and their families.
People arrived at the top of the Rainbow Bridge into a reception area where they were met by loved ones. Sleeping children awoke at this point. The welcomers were almost exclusively family members; occasionally someone respected by the escortee such as a teacher or pastor was there instead. Escortees were met with love and welcome, although the level of energy of the welcome varied greatly. For some, it was a small family group with quiet embraces who then left quickly. For others, there was an entire community gathered; there might be a roar of applause, clapping and light, lots of hugging commotion, and even a party, a feast or a parade for the arrival. In between was a range of activity with people hugging, jumping, playing, lifting and so on. Some parents did a check to see if the child was OK, some children talked about their death experiences. Helping Spirits sometimes explained to me what was happening and why things appeared as they did. For example, a returning boy might look as tall as his mother because, she saw him as her grown-up son, or a grandmother might look huge because she was a major influence in the returning man’s life. I saw what people believed/felt about each other.
My interactions with the welcomers varied widely depending on their beliefs. Some families had no awareness of me or the Helping Spirits because they had no spirituality. Often, tweens who arrived at the top were excited to tell their parents about me and our interview, Look, she’s our relative and she helped me! The parents were often surprised, having not heard of such a thing, so I explained that I was their descendant and they could ask the angels more about it. Usually family members accepted this explanation, waved, and spoke gratitude. Some reached down their hands to shake mine or give hugs. Some offered gifts; I’ve received flowers, applause, wreaths, a treasure box of honor, and a small gold heart to keep forever. Some invited me to visit them. Some parents expressed grief or anger about losing their child. Some relatives had been watching my work and were waiting for their loved one’s turn to be escorted. One man I escorted was very interested in the process and for one month I saw him every day in the reception area, explaining what I was doing to the other welcomers.
I recorded data about how the welcoming parties reacted to me.
44% - No Engagement - Relatives of these escortees did not engage. They believed we could not communicate or were busy with the escortee. A few were afraid of the “edge” and fearful of earth.
44% - Gave Thanks - Relatives of these escortees communicated gratitude in various ways, from a simple nod or gesture to verbal thanks, handshaking, hugs, etc.
11% - More Interaction - Relatives of these escortees expressed something in addition to gratitude. Some commented about the escortee, some asked questions or commented about the process. She’s quite a handful. We’re proud of our son. We’re so glad to have her back. Please visit us. We’ve been watching you. We’ll teach our children about you. One person at the reception area who had also done escorting in a past life offered, You’re doing good work.
