Developing a Process for Escorting

The process I followed for escorting was developed over time with my Helping Spirits. They initially provided me with minimal information about the process and I did my best to create a method for what needed to be done, followed by receiving their feedback on my success. Helping Spirits did most of this work: they found the people, provided me with information about them and their needs, provided me with corrections in real time, ensured that what I intended took place, and tended to the people once they arrived in Spirit. I provided the required exercise of free will (since Helping Spirits cannot act on humans without being asked) and the interface with my fellow humans. My role was similar to that of a nurse in direct contact with a patient carrying out the orders prescribed by a doctor, as is standard for healing work assisted by Helping Spirits.

Special Process for Children

I use children/child to refer to people aged up to about 12. In contrast, I use tweens to refer to people aged about 12 to whatever age was considered adulthood. At about age 12, children may be mature enough to exercise their own agency. For each child we escorted, Helping Spirits determined if the child had the resources to be escorted in a waking state and if the waking  experience would have growth value to the child. If not, the child was escorted in a sleeping state.

The Six-Step Process

Below is the six-step escorting process that we developed. Further discussion about each of the six steps follows this list:

1. Information - Obtain information from Helping Spirits about each person.

2. Interview - Interview and counsel the person until a decision to cross is made.

3. Energy Restoration - Provide the energy restoration needed by the person, and possibly also by the person’s relative(s) in Spirit.

4. Rainbow Bridge - Escort the person to my Rainbow Bridge and assist the ascent as needed.

5. Reception - Interact with the receiving family members if they seek it.

6. Left Behind Energy - Clear the physical energy of suffering the person has left behind. 

Step 1. Information

I began by obtaining basic information about each person: name, age, and whether a child, tween, or adult. I asked about the circumstances of death so I could sympathize and answer questions about the situation as needed during the interview. I asked about which family members or other known people would be welcoming the person when s/he arrived in Spirit, where other family members might be, and how long it had been since the death. I received the Helping Spirit prescription for energy restoration both for the person, and possibly for family members waiting in Spirit. I asked about the reason the person was unable to cross. I asked for the person’s Life Purpose, and for any other information that would help me to understand what would meet this person’s needs and provide motivation to cross.

Step 2. Interview

The interview is a counseling session for people who have just experienced death. With my counseling I hoped to provide for them as a Helping Spirit would, with insight and compassion, matching the needs of the escortee with the right information, the right emotional support, the right timing (following the person’s process), and in the right style (nurturing, matter of fact, tough love). This was a teachable moment when people were vulnerable after suffering. From their perspective, the death situation had just happened. What I did at this moment might permanently influence the future course of their spiritual journeys; people are no less impressionable for being unembodied. I wanted to provide an experience of healing and be a model that could inspire them in a positive way. I found that patience, respect, and allowing people time to process was essential, as well as being able to receive guidance from Helping Spirits in real time. Helping Spirits were the key to knowing the needs and motivations for each person. It was valuable to know about each person’s Life Purpose. Someone with a family-related Purpose often needed only to know where the family members were. Someone with a freedom-related Purpose needed to know that crossing was a way to freedom. For those invested in vocation or service, knowing they could come back to earth and start again was important.

A Simple Counseling Session

This simple counseling session below met the needs of many younger tweens, who were just wanting to get home to Mom and Dad, wherever they were. 

Hello Mary, I’m your relative from the future. The angels told me you were here, and about your accident/illness. They told me your body has already died, I’m sorry.  But don’t worry, I can show you the way to heaven now. Some years have passed, your Mother/Father/etc. is there. Would you like to go?

Most Common Questions

Older tweens and adults asked more questions. I answered the following questions many times; the answers allowed most people to release their attachment to the life that had ended.

• What’s happening? Where am I? What’s this? - Your body has died, now your spirit needs to go to heaven.

• Why didn’t I know? - It can be hard to tell when you’re so sick/injured.

• What happened? - I told about the situation and how it was resolved.

• Why wasn’t I there already? - Heaven sends a Welcome to people to bring them home, you didn’t notice it due to your accident/illness.

• You can talk to angels? How can you do it? - It’s a practice from ancient times that people are learning now, to check on people who missed the Welcome.

• How long has it been? Why are they there (why are the family members in heaven)? - It’s been about 100 years, when your body dies your spirit doesn’t feel time, so things are different here now.

• What about (other people)? - She will be coming a bit later, it doesn’t feel like waiting in heaven. He is still alive on earth, you can see him from heaven.

• So it’s really real? Why is it so different (from what I was taught)? It may seem different, but the important thing is that heaven is your home and it’s good. You can ask the angels all your questions when you get there.

• Why did this happen to me? Why didn’t help come sooner? Once you’re there, the angels can answer all your questions and help you. There are resources in heaven for you to heal, you don’t have to stay as you are now, you can be happy again.

Additional Motivation

These comments often helped people to release more fully:

• You can get out of this (illness, pain, hospital) and be happy/free. 

• You can come back to earth again, everyone can, it’s not your only chance for life (or to do whatever the Life Purpose was).

• It’s your choice. If you stay here it will be just like this, if you go, you’ll have more options.

For the few people who were suspicious, it helped to show them to the Bridge so they could see it for themselves, and to also ask Helping Spirits to show them the family members waiting for them.

Step 3. Energy Restoration & Remediation

Suffering can impact the spirit negatively. It can cause distortion, damage, and weakening, for which Source energy is the antidote. In order to help restore each person energetically from the suffering associated with death, I shared a few seconds of Source energy, as prescribed. This varied from zero for those who died with minimal suffering, to perhaps as much as 20 seconds for more severe circumstances. Similarly, Helping Spirits also provided a prescription for family members in Spirit who were still in a state of emotional suffering regarding the death of their loved one. 

IMPORTANT: Source energy treatment must only be prescribed by Helping Spirits in specific amounts for specific people in specific circumstances. Outside of Helping Spirit guidance, it can interfere with an individual’s Life Purpose, learning, agency, and health. People have free will at all times and in all states, and this must be respected.

4. Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge is an energetic structure that I established and cultivated daily with help from Helping Spirits. It is perceivable to Level 1 people who are stuck within the geographical area surrounding the Bridge. Once the person was ready to leave, I walked with him/her to my Rainbow Bridge and gave instructions about how to go up. "Just walk up like a stairway, it’s easy and only takes a minute. Near the top you’ll see a door and (the waiting family member) and go in. We’ll watch over you the whole way, you can start when you’re ready." For most people I also provided “push” energy to help them rise. The ascent usually took 10-20 seconds. For sleeping children, I carried them up the Rainbow Bridge myself. There were quite a few incidents of accidents, illness, or violence in which more than one person died together. In these cases, usually the eldest person present spoke for the group, then they  traveled the Bridge together.

5. Reception

The area at the top of the Rainbow Bridge functions as a reception space. I often saw the family members waiting there, and the subsequent reactions of everyone as they were reunited. I waited to receive thanks or questions from the family. Once at the top, sleeping children awoke to their parents. After leaving the reception area, escortees went directly to the Life Review  which is required before they can re-enter into Spirit.  

6. Left Behind Energy

As people ascend, their emotions and beliefs are taken with them to Spirit, but the death experience of the physical body is left behind near or on the Rainbow Bridge; this is a natural process. I cleared this physical energy with the help of the four elements (Air, Fire, Water, Earth) or with help from Mother Gaia. The physical energy eventually dissipates after people have crossed, but clearing it immediately is helpful.

Remediation

When suffering exceeds a person’s capacity to deal with it, spiritual damage can occur which cannot be healed with a few seconds of Source energy. For these cases, Remediation is available; without Remediation, a damaged soul could spend lifetimes working to heal. Helping Spirits informed me about which of the escortees would need Remediation. Helping Spirits sometimes took children directly into Remediation before the children awoke; alternately, Helping Spirits left it up to their parents, usually mothers, to make the decision to place their children in Remediation. For people of age, Helping Spirits first explained Remediation to them and allowed them to make their own choices. People who have received Remediation do not experience the Life Review unless they request it.
